Meet the people behind The Confidence Community, learn more about our vision and purpose and how you can get involved.
Our Vision
To have the confidence, to be who you want to be, in a world, which is equal.
Our Why
In 2018 research showed that there were just 5% of women in tech leadership roles.
From my own background in leadership I felt I had to be something I wasn’t, I read the books and listened to the podcasts and soon realised it was real skills that I needed to grow in confidence and a community to support my career and personal goals.
In 2018 I designed and delivered The first Confidence Collective programme and since then we have seen our community grow and flourish to date having supported 70 women through our programme with more than 400 members of our wider community.
In 2020 when the pandemic hit, the reports I read and the news I saw made it all the more apparent that women needed support in confidence, and so The Confidence Community was born.
A place for mutual support, to share resources and personal development tools and to empower and enable women working in tech to develop, succeed and inspire.
